Frank (Frankie) Gallagher passed away on Tuesday

Tributes have poured in following the sad death of beloved man Frank (Frankie) Gallagher from 18 High Street, Birr, Co. Offaly, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at his home.

He is predeceased by his parents Brendan and Peggy and brothers and sisters.

Frank is deeply regretted by his loving wife Dympna, his sister Anne, brother Brendan and all his relatives.

He will be sadly missed by his extended family, friends and neighbours.

Heartfelt condolences have been left on RIP.ie from those who knew and remembered Frank, with one mourner saying, 

"Deepest condolences to Dympna and the Gallagher family on the sad passing of Frankie. A truly talented artist. May he Rest In Peace."

Another said: "My deepest condolences to the Gallagher family on hearing off Frankie's passing. What a pure gentleman, always a smile and in good form, we had some great times in high Street growing up...rest in peace Frankie, u will b missed."

While another said,

"Deepest sympathy to Dympna and the Gallagher family. It was always a pleasure to meet Frankie, a gentleman to the core. May he rest in peace."

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr (R42 YF75) on Friday evening from 5pm - 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning to arrive at St. Brendan’s Church, Birr, at 10.45am, for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
