Lynx Cycling Club have announced the return of their charity cycle for September 27 at Gallen Community School in Ferbane.
The club will be aiming to build on last year's edition of the charity cycle which raised €6,300 for the Cluny Unit at Gallen Community School and the RISE unit at St. Cynoc’s National School.

The funds raised make a direct and meaningful difference to the children and families in both schools. One hundred percent of the €6,300 donated went straight to the two units, helping them enhance their supports and make immediate improvements for their students.
The event which took place on September 23 was proudly supported by Cloghan Wind Farm Ltd owned by Greencoat Renewables PLC.
Lynx Cycling Club were overwhelmed by the incredible support from fellow cycling clubs, local community, and the wider region.
Participants of last year's cycle travelled from as far as Longford, Meath and Dublin. The event featured both 100km and 50km routes, starting and finishing at the Cluny Unit in Gallen Community School, Ferbane.

Teaching staff, parents, and Lynx members welcomed and registered participants, ensuring everyone was well-fed and hydrated before, during, and after the cycle.
The Lynx road captains and members guided 150 cyclists safely along each route all in aid of a good cause within the local community.
The upcoming charity cycle on September 27 will raise funds for both schools once again as the Lynx Cycling Club look forward to welcoming new and familiar faces for the 2026 edition of the event.
