Two credit unions in Offaly join forces to host joint roadshow in Tullamore and Moate

Tullamore Credit Union and St Brigid's CU in Clara joint initiative launched

Tullamore Credit Union and St Brigid’s Credit Union invite you to their first ever joint roadshow! The Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Roadshow, which will take in Tuar Ard Moate on Sept 29th and at Esker Arts Tullamore on 1st October, and is aimed at educating and engaging with members, communities and businesses on the importance of ESG and ‘green’ practices and their impact. This initiative aligns which the credit unions shared commitment to sustainable business practices, community development & financial literacy.

The roadshows, which are fully supported by Offaly County Council, will be informative & help raise awareness of the principles of ESG, corporate responsibility & sustainability. Information will be available about the ESG products & services available in both credit unions. A range of local suppliers of ‘green’ products will also display some of their products and be available to answer attendees’ questions.

‘This collaboration shows our shared commitment to sustainability and community’ said Deputy CEO Caroline Collins Murphy from Tullamore Credit Union. ‘It’s about offering real value and having a real impact’.

TONIGHT: Celebration of creativity in Offaly during Culture Night

While Michael Kelly, CEO of St Brigid’s Credit Union added ‘the ethos of the credit union is people helping people. Using our strong position to help membership become more sustainable is the goal and this collaboration assists in achieving this objective’.

So come along to Tuar Ard Moate on Monday 29th September or Esker Arts Tullamore on Wednesday 1st October at 6pm to meet local stakeholders and 7pm to hear the guest speakers.

All members, community groups and businesses are welcome!
