TULLAMORE

Lotto
The numbers drawn this week were 9-13-16-20. We had no jackpot winner this week. There were two match 3 winners each receiving €100. Sandra Buckley (Online) and Anne Andrew’s (Online). Next weeks jackpot is €14,400.

Underage
Well done to our u14 footballers who defeated St Manchans on Wednesday evening crowning the lads league champions once again. Hard luck to our u12 hurlers who were defeated by Brosna Geals on Thursday and to our u13 team who lost out to SBK on Friday.

Adult
Hard luck to our senior footballers who were defeated by Ferbane last Friday in the Div 1 league, the lads still reach the semi final in two weeks time.
Best of luck to our Junior hurlers who play Ballyskenach/Killavilla on Friday coming in the league semi final. The game is in Rath at 7.30.

Offaly Minors
Hard luck to the Offaly minor footballers who were defeated by Mayo on Sunday in the All-Ireland Quarter final. Everyone is very proud of the efforts ye put in and League and Leinster Champions is something to be very proud of.

Offaly Senior Football
Well done to the Offaly senior footballers who defeated New York in Glenisk O’Connor Park on Saturday. Best wishes to Daire, John, Cormac, Cillian, Aaron, Oisin, Diarmuid and all the panel on Saturday when they meet Kildare in the Quarter final in Newbridge.

BALLINAMERE

Lotto

We played Kinnitty in the final round of the Division 3 hurling league last Thursday evening with a comprehensive win.

Sincere sympathy to Dinah Boland and family, Coolnahiley on the recent passing of her sister Ann Mooney, late of Cloonagh, Tullamore. Na Fianna U13 Footballers face Edenderrry in Rd 5 of the Shane Lowry League this Friday evening (13 June) @ 6:15pm in Geashill. All Support would be appreciated.

U-14 Football
Na Fianna U14 Footballers get the 2025 Championship campaign underway for the club as they face St Rynaghs in Rd 1 of the U14 Football Championship Group Two next Monday evening (16 June) @ 6:30pm in Geashill. Best of Luck to Players & Management. All Support would be appreciated.

U-16 Football
Na Fianna U16 Football No 2 Team get the 2025 Championship campaign underway for their age group as they face Shamrocks in Rd 1 of the 2nds Competition on Next Thursday (19 June) @ 6:30pm in Mucklagh. Best of Luck to Players & Management. All Support would be appreciated.

RAHEEN

Golf Outing
Raheen GAA Club’s 3rd Annual GOLF Outing takes place on Saturday 21st June 2025 in Portarlington Golf Club with participants competing for the Sean Carthy Memorial Trophy kindly donated by the Carthy Family with many other prizes generously donated by Shane Carroll of Carroll Design & Surveying Ltd. Day Out
The next Raheen GAA Club social event is on Wednesday 16th July 2025 with a Day Tour to Glasnevin Cemetery, Dublin. Bus leaves Geashill @ 9am & Cloneygowan @ 9:15am Stopping in Johnstown Garden Centre for light refreshments then on Glasnevin Cemetery for a Guided Tour and stopping off at the Poitin Stil on the way home for dinner and will arrive back in Cloneygowan / Geashill at approx. 8pm. Cost is €35 for Bus & Guided Tour. All are welcome to come along. Training Course
Training course for the use of the defibrillators is being organised in the area.
Anyone interested in being trained in the use of the Defibrillators please contact PAURIC PIERCE on 0876833535 - Time and Venue to be confirmed. This course will take a couple of hours and is free of charge. Training will be carried out by Edenderry Community First Responders. This service would be a great asset to the community and could save a life of two. The more that is trained the better.


BALLYCUMBER

U-13
St Manchan Gaels under 13 footballers travelled to Carlingford, Louth on Saturday to participate in the Brammel Malone Tournament organised by Cooley Kickhams GAA Club.
They had wins against Achill Island, Gort na Mona and Silverbridge and a loss to Seneschalstown to qualify for the Shield competition. They had a one point win against St Clarets from London to reach the semi final. The semi final against St Patricks, Louth was played on their home pitch and was a dramatic game which finished even at full time.Extra time failed to separate the sides, it was decided by a penalty shoot out with St Manchan Gaels coming out on top. In the final they defeated Na Piarsaigh from Derry by 2–8 to 1–0. Congratulations to players and management on a very successful trip.

Tony Coolahan
Congratulations to Tony Coolahan who celebrated his 90th birthday on Sunday. Tony represented our Club in Scór on numerous occasions with his unique style of Story Telling. He has won many county titles and represented Offaly and Leinster with distinction at All Ireland Finals. He was also an underage mentor with teams and often transported more than half the team in his car to venues around the county. Thankfully Tony is in good health and as a devoted family man is very proud of his family. We wish Tony a happy birthday and many more to come.

Division 2 Football League
Ballycumber qualified for the Division 2 semi final with a 2–20 to 1–13 victory against Tubber on Thursday evening. Trailing 1–4 to 1–7 at half time Ballycumber added 1–16 in the second half while restricting Tubber to 0–6 to run out convincing winners. They will now face Cappincur in two weeks.

Offaly minor footballers went down with their heads held high on Sunday after an amazing comeback against Mayo in Roscommon.
Best of luck to Offaly senior footballers in their Tailteann Cup game v Kildare in Newbridge next weekend.

TUBBER

Division Two League
Hard luck to our senior footballers who were beaten by Ballycumber in the last round of the league last Thursday by 2-20 to 1-13. This result ends our participation in this year’s League, and the team and management will now concentrate on preparation for the Senior B Championship, which starts in July.

St Manchan’s Gaels Football
Hard luck to our U14 boys, who were beaten by a strong Tullamore team in Tubber last Wednesday by 4-16 to 2-08 in Round 5 of the League South Division.

Bereavement
Tubber GAA would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Madden family on the passing of David Madden. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

For the Summer months the Healthy Club have organised a cycling and walking initiative. Sunday Cycles, meeting at the Church Park at 9.30am and Wednesday Walks, meeting at the Church Park at 7.30pm. All are welcome to take part.

Offaly Minors
Hard luck to Tomás Carroll, his St. Manchan's teammates and the Offaly Minor team and management in the All-Ireland Quarter Final, a great achievement to get that far.

St. Manchan's Gaels
Congratulations to St. Manchan's Gaels U13 boys who played in the Bammel Malone tournament in Louth, representing Offaly. The lads won the Shield Final, well done to all involved.

Congratulations
Well done to Joshua Buckley who was part of the Faithful Og 2025 hurling programme, the lads lined out against Laois at the weekend. Best of luck to Cian Bracken who will travel to Florida to take part in a 10 day soccer programme.

Pullough Youth Space
The Youth Space are organising kayaking and water safety sessions for the four Fridays in July. Spaces are very limited, please contact the Youth Space for book - €40 for the four sessions.

Pullough Community Centre
Bingo takes place every Monday night in the Community Centre at 8pm sharp. A guaranteed Jackpot of €1,000 must be won.

Division 2 Hurling League Round 4
Clodiagh Gaels 0-15 Kilcormac/Killoughey 1-20. Hard luck to the lads on the defeat against Kilcormac/Killoughey.
Division 3 Hurling League Round 1
Clodiagh Gaels 1-22 St Rynaghs 1-16. Well done to our lads on picking up a win in their final group game on Friday night. After we started so well early on, St Rynaghs started to get a bit of control on the game and they got us back level with about 15 minutes to go. Aaron Rattigan came off the bench for us and netted and we pushed on again to finish strong.
