Three people match three numbers in Daingean GAA's weekly lotto

The jackpot in Daingean GAA club's weekly lotto is now a massive €17,800.

there was no winner in last week's draw and the numbers drawn were 5, 15, 16, 27.

There were three match 3 winners: Margaret Rickard (c/o online), Jane Domican (c/o online) and Emma McEvoy (c/o Sean McEvoy). All match 3’s shared €200.

Division 2 League

Daingean were defeated by Clara in the final round of the Division 2 league last Friday in Clara.

Goals by Cian O’Reilly and Cathal Ryan in the first half meant Daingean lead at the break by 2-08 to 1-08.

However in the 2nd half with the aid of the breeze, Clara kicked some fine long range 2-pointers and quickly turned the deficit into a lead, this was a lead they did not relinquish and the game ended 3-18 to 3-12 in Clara’s favour.

Daingean now face into the semi-finals of the league after finishing 4th in the group.

Players used: R Mannion, P Ferguson, C Brophy, F McGuiness, C Ryan, C Evans, J Kelly, S Milne, S Wright, C O’Reilly, J Connolly, C Bracken, J Hayes, O Connolly, C Hayes, A Byrne, A Longworth, C McKnight, D Mangan, O Delaney.

Division 5 League

Daingean were defeated by Rhode in the Division 5 league last Thursday in Rhode.

This was a game that could have swung either way with very little between the teams, however it wasn’t to be Daingean’s day and that ends the Division 5 league campaign.

The final score was Daingean 2-09 to Rhode 3-09.
