Garda HQ has released remarkable pictures drugs, equipment and cash seized at a drug factory near Rathdowney in Laois. The photos feature what appear to be hundreds of tablets in buckets and packages, tablet-making equipment and bundles of cash in €50 notes.
During searches on April 24, Gardaí say that €200,000 in cash, €140,000 suspected cannabis, €10,000 suspected MDMA /ecstacy tablets and a substantial amount of counterfeit prescription tablets were seized. A sophisticated illicit pill making facility, including a pill press, was also seized. Two people were arrested. To see more pictures tap next or arrow.
