LIVE: Met Éireann make important change to rare Status Red warning ahead of Storm Éowyn
The entire country is bracing for Storm Éowyn on Friday as Met Éireann has now issued a Status Red wind warning for all counties.
Carlow, Waterford, Kilkenny and Wexford are the latest counties affected by Met Éireann's warnings.
Earlier on Wednesday, Carlow weather man Alan O'Reilly warned that the approaching Storm Éowyn will be a "historic" one. O'Reilly added: "Anyone saying this is just another storm is in for a rude awakening."

People are being warned that the upcoming storm will pose a "danger to life" as well as cause major disruptions to transport and widespread power outages.
The RSA has also urged people not to travel on Friday as the storm is expected to batter the country.
A Status Yellow rain warning is also in place for Waterford, Cork and Kerry in the lead up the storm. This warning is valid from 9pm on Thursday to 3am on Friday morning.
