Sentencing adjourned to January 2026 at Tullamore Circuit Court
SENTENCING of two men for a drugs offence has been adjourned to January for probation reports.
Aaron Holt (27) of Castleview Park, Edenderry, and Shane O'Neill (25) of The Sycamores, Edenderry have both pleaded guilty to being in possession of the controlled drug for the purposes of supplying or otherwise selling to another at Castleview Park on May 8, 2024. At the time the drug was in their possession the market value was €13,000 or more.
Tullamore Circuit Court heard that Mr Holt had previously pleaded guilty and a probation report was ordered.
Mr O'Neill was arraigned at the current sessions of the court and also entered a guilty plea when he was arraigned.

David Nugent, BL, for Mr O'Neill, sought a probation report and Judge Sinead McMullan said that would be helpful in advance of sentencing.
Judge O'Neill ordered that sentencing take place on January 13 next.
