Crinkle Sports & Recreation Centre CLG receives €14,982, to develop a Disability Access Ramp for the multi-sport playing field.
Mucklagh Community Development Company CLG: €13,284, to replace seating in the facility, enhancing safety and comfort for its growing older population of users.
Clara and District Recreation Association CLG: €7,500, to improve pool infrastructure with new lane dividers, springs, and storage equipment, supporting service expansion.
Clara Community & Family Resource Centre CLG: €9,788, to upgrade the entrance of its Resource Shop, attracting more customers and increasing reinvestment into local services.
Deputy John Clendennen praised the investment, stating, ''This is fantastic news for Offaly’s community sector. These organisations in Crinkle, Mucklagh and Clara are doing invaluable work, supporting local families, improving accessibility, and creating welcoming spaces. I’m proud to see targeted government support enabling them to grow and thrive.''
He continued, “As part of the national ‘Trading for Impact’ policy, this scheme ensures our social enterprises have the facilities and equipment they need to keep delivering vital services. I will continue to advocate for further investment across Offaly to support these important community anchors.''
