Offaly Down Syndrome is Tullamore Show's chosen charity for 2024.

The Charity Spot enables the chosen charity to fundraise by various means, whether by bucket collections, raffles or donations.

It gives them an opportunity to raise awareness of the successful charity.

Speaking on behalf of Offaly Down Syndrome, Robbie Donnelly said "they are delighted to be selected for the Tullamore Show & FBD National Livestock Show charity partners and by partnering with the Ireland’s Premier Show the association is hoping to gain increased visibility and the opportunity to raise essential funds to continue our invaluable work, whilst also raising funds to set up our very own Centre of Excellence in County Offaly.”

Offaly Down Syndrome Association has been a pillar of support in the community since 1984 and advocates for the rights, inclusion, and well-being of individuals with Down Syndrome.

"We are dedicated to being the primary source of information and support to people with Down syndrome in County Offaly, their families and the professional community, working towards an improved quality of life for our members along with a respect and acceptance of people with Down syndrome as valued members of society"

Tullamore Show extends its best wishes to Offaly Down Syndrome for a successful fundraising event at Tullamore Show on  Sunday next.
