According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, the weather is going to be generally unsettled with rain or showers over the weekend with the best of the dry intervals not set to arrive in Ireland until Monday.

According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, the weather will be dry at first on Saturday with some sunny spells, the best of these in the east and north, but turning cloudy from the southwest. Through the morning, some rain and drizzle will move into Munster, turning more persistent in the afternoon, and slowly tracking northeastwards. Highest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees, mildest in north Leinster and Ulster, where some sunny spells will continue into the afternoon and where it'll stay largely dry until later in the evening or early tomorrow night. Southeasterly winds will increase moderate, occasionally fresh and gusty in coastal parts of the south and west.

According to Met Eireann, there will be rain over much of the country early in the night on Saturday night. The rain will continue to track northeastwards, clearing from the southwest to showers through the night. Some of the showers may be heavy. Temperatures not falling below 9 to 12 degrees in light southeasterly winds, veering southwesterly.

According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, the last of the rain will clear the north through the morning and early afternoon on Sunday, leaving a day with a mix of cloud, sunny spells and scattered showers. Some of the showers will be heavy or possibly thundery with a chance of spot flooding. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees generally, slightly cooler for Atlantic coasts, in mostly moderate southwest to west winds.

Sunday night will see clear spells with scattered showers gradually easing through the night. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees in moderate westerly winds.

According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, sunny spells and showers are expected on Monday with the showers becoming lighter and more isolated through the day. There is a chance of cloudier conditions along with some rain and drizzle moving into the west and southwest in the evening. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees in moderate westerly winds.
