Massive potholes are causing a problem for motorists in Durrow

An urgent programme of road repairs has been called for the the Durrow area.
Independent councillor Sean O'Brien said there is an urgent need for road repairs in many rural roads in the Durrow area especially in Ballynamona, Acontha, Beleek and Lug. “Some areas are virtually impassable with the serious deterioration in the roads over the past month,” claimed Cllr O'Brien.
"Massive potholes can damage cars and local people are using these roads many times daily to go to work, schools and shopping,” he added.
Cllr O'Brien said he has been in contact with the area engineer about this serious issue and will continue to raise this matter until it is sorted.
