Tickets for the Big Raffle will be available throughout 2024
Offaly Down Syndrome Association are excited to announce their upcoming fundraiser, The Big Raffle 2024.
This is a significant fundraising initiative aimed at improving the lives of individuals with down syndrome in our community by raising funds to find a new home for the association. This fundraiser will run from January 1 2024, and will end on December 22, with winners being announced on December 31, live from The Tullamore Court Hotel.
One of the key elements of the raffle is the exciting prizes offered to participants. The first prize is a 215 Suzuki Swift 1.2 Mild Hybrid worth €24,000 from Hugo Loonam Motors in Cloghan, and second prize is the holiday of your dreams to the value of €4,000 with Midland Travel in Tullamore. More great prizes will be announced throughout the year enticing participants to enter.
“With 2024 being our 40th year in County Offaly, we feel that now is the time to find our own premises to run our association from, which will give our members a place to meet up, received significant therapies, and also run our association more effectively and efficiently. Therefore, all money raised from The Big Raffle will go to finding a premises, and transforming it into a place we can be proud of.” said Ann Crombie, Offaly Down Syndrome Association Chairperson.
Down Syndrome Offaly advocates for the rights, inclusion, and well-being of individuals with Down Syndrome.
They are dedicated to being the primary source of information and support to people with Down syndrome, their families and the professional community, working towards an improved quality of life for our members along with a respect and acceptance of people with Down syndrome as valued members of society.
