Film on heroic life of Offaly WW1 priest to be screened in Mucklagh

Fr Willie Doyle SJ was a chaplain in World War 1

'Bravery Under Fire': A film telling the story of the heroic life of Fr Willie Doyle SJ, will be screened in Mucklagh Community Centre next Friday, November 17.

The Jesuit priest was a chaplain in World War 1 and the EWTN film will be shown in the centre at 8pm on Friday night.

The evening will also feature a brief talk about Fr Doyle's canonisation cause by Fr John Hogan, Postulator.

There will also be individual blessings with a relic of Fr Doyle.
