The community day due to take place in Ferbane has been cancelled
A community event due to take place in Ferbane on Saturday afternoon has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
The event, organised by Ferbane Tidy Towns was due to take place from 2pm to 4pm in the An Síolán community garden at the former St Joseph's Convent in the west Offaly town.
People had been invited to see the recently completed works thanks to the Axa Parks Grant.
Attendees had also been invited to help tidy towns put the finishing touches to Ferbane’s newest green space with some planting.
Refreshments and music were also on the day's programme.
