Offaly farmers rear and sell cattle for Hooves 4 Hospice fund-raiser

A Simmental bullock was recently sold at the Roscrea Mart to raise funds for the Hooves 4 Hospice Project.

The animal, was kindly reared and donated by Sean Hynes from Irishtown, Coolderry, and fetched the handsome sum of €2,600.

A young Charolais heifer donated and reared by Mr Harry Gunning of Derrycarney, Cloghan was also sold recently for a great price of €1,180.
