Methodist President to visit Offaly for church service

THIS Sunday, February 5 Tullamore Methodist Church, a part of the Birr, Athlone and Tullamore Circuit are very excited to welcome the President of the Methodist Church in Ireland the Rev. David Nixon for a special evening service at 7pm. 

The Presidency with the Methodist Church in Ireland is a one year tenure and it is with great joy that we welcome Rev David to our church here in Tullamore. The theme of Rev. David’s presidency is “God’s lavish love”. A theme borne out not only from theological learning but also from the President’s personal experience.   

In a day and age when many struggle with the existence of God, the relevance of God and whether God is even present or cares, this becomes a talk worthy of a hearing. 

So, whether one finds themselves a sceptic, a scholar, a saint or a sinner we warmly welcome you to come and join us for what promises to be a wonderful evening with a very humble, soft spoken gentleman who happens to be the President of the Methodist Church in Ireland.
