Conor Wilkinson fired a second-half hat-trick as Solihull maintained their play-off push with a 6-0 win at bottom club Ebbsfleet.
Moors defender Jack Clarke was shown a straight red card in the sixth minute for a high boot, while Ebbsfleet were also reduced to 10 men before half-time after Jez Davies saw red for his challenge on Solihull’s Jamey Osborne.
Solihull came under pressure in the first period, but took the lead early in the second half through Osborne’s deflected free-kick and Michael Adu-Poku doubled their advantage shortly afterwards with a thumping low drive.
Wilkinson slid in Solihull’s third unopposed before drilling home his second from Jack Stevens’ cutback two minutes later.
Ebbsfleet’s misery was complete when Aaron Cosgrave’s 63rd-minute penalty was saved before Wilkinson completed his hat-trick 10 minutes later and Sam Bowen added the visitors’ sixth deep in stoppage time.
