Offaly GAA is offering fans the opportunity of buying tickets for games in local shops, it has been announced.
While tickets can still be purchased in the normal way online, tickets for hurling and football games can be bought at locations in Tullamore, Clara, Edenderry, Birr and Banagher and are available in shops for this coming weekend's fixtures.
The move will be a welcome one, as many older GAA fans prefer to be able to purchase a physical ticket, and some don't have smartphones.
Some clubs had organised designated persons in the club who booked tickets online for their older members and ensured they were able to gain entry to games.
Tickets for the below games can be purchased in these shops: Scally's Centra, Tullamore; Baggot's Centra, Clara; Mangan's Centra, Edenderry; Buckley's SuperValu, Birr; Sexton's SuperValu, Banagher.
They are also still available to be purchased online as per usual.
