Where and when to watch Ireland at the PDC World Cup of Darts 2025

The PDC Darts World Cup 2025 gets underway later this week and the Irish are looking to rectify last year's shock exit from the competition at the hands of Chinese Taipei.

This year's Irish team is made up by the pairing of World Cup veteran William O'Connor, Limerick, and 22 year-old Meath man Keane Barry.

William O'Connor currently is ranked at 47th in the PDC World Rankings, with Barry at 54th. Although, the rankings aren't the highest for the Irish duo, the pair have a lot of experience in the sport, O'Connor is a winner of a ranking title in the PDC and has made it to a major semi-final at the 2022 UK Open, the same year Barry made it to the other semi-final himself.

Ireland as the 8th seed in the tournament will be hoping to make it out of their group, where they will face China and Gibraltar.

The top seeded team no surprise to darts fans is England, with world number 1, Luke Humpries, and world number 2, Luke Littler looking to win their second World Cup in succession.

The Northern Irish team are the forth seeds in the event with two inform players in Josh Rock, and Daryl Gurney.

Betting odds

The betting odds (at the time of writing) see Ireland as big outsiders to win the tournament, sitting at a 66/1 shot to take home the title.

England are run away favourites with their all-star pairing, seeing them at 4/9, the Welsh pair of Johnny Clayton and Gerwyn Price are second favourites at 5/1, and Netherlands round out the top 3 at 11/1.

The event in its entirety will be broadcast live on Sky Sports starting on Thursday June 12th at 18:00 and run until Sunday the 15th June, where we hope to see the Irish team in the final.
