Offaly Down Syndrome were the recipients of the largest amount, which was €12,000, part proceeds from Brereton's Tractor Run held earlier in the year.
OFFALY Down Syndrome Association extends its deepest thanks and heartfelt appreciation to the Brereton's Bar Annual Tractor Run Committee and the entire Ballybritt community for their incredible support and generosity. This year's Tractor Run event, which took place on June 30th, successfully raised an astounding €12,000 for the organisation.
The funds raised through this event will go a long way in supporting the vital services they provide to individuals with Down syndrome and their families throughout Offaly. These contributions will have a significant impact on enhancing the quality of life for their members.
The Tractor Run, now a much-anticipated event in the Ballybritt community calendar, showcases the remarkable spirit of togetherness and charity that defines the area. Robbie Donnelly, Branch Administrator for Offaly Down Syndrome has said “We are immensely grateful to the Brereton's Bar Annual Tractor Run Committee for their tireless efforts in organising such a successful event. Their dedication, combined with the overwhelming support from local participants, sponsors, and volunteers, really made this year’s event a standout success.”
Offaly Down Syndrome would also like to extend a special thank you to the Ballybritt community. “Your enthusiasm, participation, and generosity are truly inspiring. It is because of communities like yours that organisations like ours can continue to provide essential services and support to those who need it most.
“Once again, thank you to everyone involved. Your contribution is not just financial; it is a gesture of solidarity and compassion that will resonate throughout our community.”
