Offaly woman through to final of brown bread baking competition at Ploughing 2024
An Offaly woman has made it through to the final of the National Brown Bread Baking Competition at the National Ploughing Championships in Ratheniska, Co Laois.
Rose Egan from Tullamore was announced as one of the four finalists for the National Brown Bread Baking Competition supported by Euronics in association with the National Ploughing Association and the Irish Country Women’s Association at the site on Tuesday.

The first semi-final took place on Tuesday at the National Ploughing Championships in Ratheniska, Co Laois, with the final taking place on Thursday.
The winning brown bread baker will walk away with a cash prize of €5,000 and a NEFF Slide & Hide oven, with the three finalists all walking away with a €500 Euronics gift card.
