LATEST: Man charged in connection to death of 82-year-old woman in Cork
A man in his 30s has been charged in relation to the death of 82-year-old Stella Nnadi of Carrigaline, Cork earlier this week.
The woman died on Tuesday, 25 February following an incident which occurred at her home days earlier on Sunday, 23 February.
Gardaí said Nnadi did not initially require medical assistance after the incident, however she later became unwell and was transported to Cork University Hospital on Tuesday where she passed away.

The man is due to appear before Cork District Court at 10.30am this Thursday morning.
Nnadi, who was originally from Nigeria, had been living with her daughter in Carrigaline for over 15 years.
Gardaí said that a post-mortem examination was to be conducted on the body of the 82-year-old on Wednesday. Her residence has also been preserved for technical and forensic examination.
A Senior Investigating Officer has been appointed to lead the investigation and a Family Liaison Officer has been assigned to provide support and information to Nnadi's family.
Gardaí say that investigations are ongoing.
