The clean up following the riots
A total of 40 suspects have now been arrested following the Dublin riots, after a man was arrested earlier today in Dublin.
Gardaí in Store Street confirmed that they arrested a man in connection with the ongoing investigations into the serious public disorder events of 23rd November 2023, in Dublin city centre.
This brings the number of arrests in this ongoing investigation to 40.
The man in his 20s was arrested this morning, Friday, 14th June 2024 in Dublin. He is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a Garda station in the Dublin Metropolitan Region (DMR).
"An Garda Síochána continues to appeal to anyone with information about the events on that day, or anyone involved in organising or participating in these events, to contact the Garda investigation team at Store Street Garda Station at 01 666 8000, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda station," a garda spokesperson said.
A total of 34 individuals were arrested at that time of the incidents, with a further 6 arrests linked to the investigation.
