Gardaí have launched an investigation after shots were fired at a family home in north Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
Four people - two adults and two children - are understood to have been in the house in Finn Eber Square in Finglas, at the time of the incident, which occurred at around 12.40am.
No one was injured during the course of the incident.
A garda spokeswoman said in a statement: "Gardaí were alerted to a incident in Finglas, Dublin 11 in the early hours of this morning Tuesday 28th May, 2024 at approximately 00.40 hours. No persons were injured and investigations ongoing".
The scene has been preserved for a forensic examination and gardaí have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
