John Flynn from the Mount Sion GAA Club in Waterford has been awarded the first GAA Community Spirit award on the Late Late Show.
His dedication to all things GAA in his local club has now been acknowledged on national television.
Mount Sion club man Eoin Fanning said John had been involved with the club for almost three decades.
"Everything revolves around John... He is the man," Eoin said. He noted that John is at almost every game from underage to ladies football and camogie.
"He is the man," agreed host Patrick Kielty. "And that is why, tonight John, you are the first recipient of our very first Late Late Show Community Spirit Award".

When asked by Patrick Kielty what the club means to him, John replied: "It means everything to me".
He thanked all those in the club who had nominated him. He said he owed it to the players from various teams in Mount Sion GAA Club.
"What I love about this is, tonight John's getting the award, and the first thing he does is comes up and mentions everybody else in the club. That's why you have got this," the Late Late Show presenter said.
