Exciting 'Clash of the Rashers' competition held at local Golf Club

The much anticipated 'Clash of the Rashers' Annual Golf Society Shield competition was held in Roscrea Golf Club between Roscrea Bacon and Phelan's Golf Society, with eventual winners Roscrea Bacon emerging victors by only three points.

The final score was 250 points to 247.

Roscrea Bacon Bacon Factory Golf Society is one of the oldest in the Ireland at over 50 years and Ruth Wright is the first ever Lady Captain. Congratulations Ruth, you brought the bacon home!
