Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland for Bank Holiday weekend and it's not looking good

Met Eireann has released it latest weather forecast for Ireland for the May Bank Holiday weekend and it's not looking good.

According to Met Eireann, it will be rather unsettled for the Bank Holiday Weekend with low pressure dominating bringing rain at times although Monday will be a brighter day with sunny spells and scattered showers.

According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, Friday will be mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Sunshine will be limited and is most likely in Ulster where it will be warmest. Highest temperatures of 10 to 18 degrees with light to moderate west to northwest or variable winds.

Mostly cloudy on Friday night with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, heavy at times. Lowest temperatures ranging between 5 degrees in the south and 11 degrees in the north, with light westerly or variable winds.

According to Met Eireann, Saturday will be mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain, mainly over the northern half of the country. Driest with occasional sunshine in the south. Highest temperatures of 12 to 17 degrees, mildest in the south, with light westerly winds.

Cloudy with patchy light rain in northern areas on Saturday night. It will be drier with some clear spells in the south, although rain may move into southern coastal areas overnight. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 11 degrees with light and variable winds.

In the latest weather forecast for Ireland, Met Eireann is forecasting that Sunday will be mostly cloudy with scattered outbreaks of rain, although occasional sunny breaks will develop too. Highest temperatures of 12 to 17 degrees with light easterly winds.

According to Met Eireann, Monday will be a brighter day overall with a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees with a light to moderate northerly breeze.
