The amazing talent within the student body was showcased on the night

The students of Coláiste Phobal Ros Cré recently staged a hugely successful musical in the school hall after months of hard work and rehearsals.

The amazing talent within the student body was showcased on the night and during the rehearsals process was nurtured to produce a show enjoyed by everyone who was lucky enough to attend.

To run such an event is a huge commitment and the staff and students are very grateful to the core team of Ms Dempsey, Mr Maher, Ms O'Donoghue, Mr McCormack, Ms Larkin and Ms Dore - who really created a magical musical this year.

Thanks to Event Lighting Solutions and Brian Cantwell and Joe Murphy for the fantastic sound and stage. The event simply cannot run without the support of the many staff looking after so many tasks over the five shows - such as ticket sales and hall preparation, car parking, catering, ushers and raffle.

Coláiste's student volunteers were once again phenomenal and turned up in large numbers to support in any capacity they were needed – The school were very fortunate to also have fantastic support from local sponsors for raffle prizes – our Parents Association, Bernie's SuperValu Roscrea, Fitzgerald's Bus Company, Moloney's Sports and Corville Stores Educational Supplies - your kind support is very much appreciated.

Most importantly, huge thanks to the local schools and their teachers for coming to the matinees and the families and friends of the Coláiste who came out to support us each night.
