Leading Offaly hotel given green light for extension and other works
A leading Offaly hotel has been given the green light for a major extension and other works
Planning permission was sought from Offaly County Council for the works by the County Arms in Birr.
The plans include the removal of removal of existing temporary structures, minor internal alterations, and the construction of a new two-storey extension to the southern elevation of the existing hotel building.
Plans also include the extension of the existing car park including the provision of groundworks, pathways, public lighting and landscaping.
Offaly County Council has granted planning permission for the works with 11 conditions attached.
