Offaly residents warned of 'dodgy tradespeople' with empty pick-up truck

Locals in Tullamore are being warned of "dodgy tradespeople" operating in and around the town.

It's understood an English-registered pick up truck has been moving through the town with what one resident described as "dodgy tradespeople" offering to do gardening and roofing work.

A resident told us: "It is a large pick up truck, the types that local authorities use rather than a Ford Ranger or VW Amarok type."

They added that they had looked in the back of the truck and it "had no tools, not even a little garden trowel."

Residents can report suspicious vehicles and people to gardaí.
