Rathcabbin Tidy Towns members received an award at the Tipperary County Council Awards night in the Nenagh Civic Office last week.
The Rathcabbin Rural Development got recognised on the night for their considerable increase in points in 2023 Tidy Towns competition. They would like to thank all locals for support during the year and especially those volunteers missing from the accompanying photo - Elaine Rigney Sherlock, Ciaran Yates, Tom Lewis and Denise Clancy who contribute to all the group's work regularly.
They’ve happily been awarded some monies for their progressive work by the local council. This prize money will go directly back into the village upkeep and projects for 2024. They thank all residents for your contributions around your homes, it all helped this recognition.
New volunteers are always welcome and a great time to join in an ad-hoc basis is for the Spring litter pick! Their aim is to continue with steady improvements next year.
