Eoghan Hynes, son of Kevin and Margaret Hynes of Killurin, recently graduated from the Technological University of the Shannon, Midlands, with a PhD from the department of Computer and Software Engineering.
Eoghan won the Best Paper Award at the 15th international conference on quality of multimedia experience, recently held in Ghent, Belgium.
Eoghan is pictured here with his parents following the graduation ceremony.
