The late Pam Regan

BEAT on The Street Banagher’s all-day music festival returns on Saturday August 5th 2023.

With street entertainment, family fun and games from 12pm in the vicinity of the library carpark there will be five bands playing on the Gig Rig on Main Street from 1pm.

Gig-Rig line up: Abbeyfolk (1-3pm); Splendid Isolation (3-5pm); Tradstone (5-7pm); The Dooley Brothers (7-9pm); One For The Road (9pm – til late).

2023 Beat on The Street merchandise, T-shirts and hoodies are on sale with lots of clothing, bags, jewellery, hats and bric-a-brac in the pop-up shop at the corner of the square.

This event was first held in 2018, three months after the late Pamela Regan of Ballyeighter lost her life to cancer. A young mother and a committed community volunteer it was an ambition of Pam's to organise a street festival in Banagher. Since 2018 €80,000 has been raised for worthy local charities. An event where Banagher welcomes visitors to the town it is also a time to remember our loved ones taken too soon and those in our community who need help of any kind.

It is the commitment from sponsors, local business, volunteers and the local community that make this street festival and pop-up shop an annual success. All proceeds raised this year will be donated to Banagher Bereavement Fund, East Galway & Midlands Cancer Support Group, Banagher/Birr Mental Health Group and Offaly Hospice.

Entry Tickets: 16+ €20. U16's Free Entry. To purchase a ticket online visit https://willwego.com/beat-on-the-street/?ftredirect=1
