Met Eireann forecast when break in the weather will come in Ireland with rain set to return
Rain is set to return to Ireland this week but there is also plenty of sunshine and warm weather to look forward to in the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland.
According to Met Eireann, it will become cloudy in the south and southwest on Friday night with rain or showers developing later. Cloud and showery rain is likely to extend northwards over the country on Saturday. Highest temperatures of 17 to 22 degrees with a light to moderate east to southeast wind.
However the further outlook from Met Eireann states that while there will be showers at time, it will stay warm with temperatures generally in the low twenties.
According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast, Wednesday will be dry and sunny. Highest temperatures of 19 to 25 degrees generally, but again it will be cooler in the east due to a light to moderate easterly breeze, keeping highest temperatures there around 15 to 18 degrees.
Dry with long clear spells on Wednesday night. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in a light easterly breeze.
Remaining dry and sunny on Thursday with the sunshine turning hazy at times. Highest temperatures ranging 16 to 24 degrees east to west, with a light to moderate easterly breeze.
Mostly dry with clear spells on Thursday night. Cloud will thicken in the south and southwest overnight, with patchy light rain or drizzle possible in the southwest by morning. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 14 degrees in a light to moderate easterly breeze.
Most places will see another dry and sunny day on Friday. It will turn cloudier at times and showers are possible in the southwest. Highest temperatures of 17 to 25 degrees, warmest in the west, with a light to moderate easterly wind continuing.
