OUR Lady’s Templemore has a long tradition of academic excellence and success across a variety of activities in which their students engage with.
The Leaving Cert class of 2022 have now added to this tradition by placing Our Lady’s top of the list of co-educational schools in Tipperary. In a recent publication by the Irish Times, 97% of Leaving Cert students from Our Lady’s in 2022 have transferred to 3rd level. Students from OLT are pursuing their education in universities across the country and beyond, with the majority based in the Limerick region.
Principal, Mr Paul Fogarty commented “we are delighted that students in the LC class of 2022 have reached their potential and that we have the highest co-ed transfer to 3rd level in Tipperary. It is a great testament to the culture of excellence cultivated by teachers, students and parents/guardians over what has been a challenging number of years in education”
Gillian Fogarty was the top performing student at Our Lady’s in 2022 and she is currently studying Primary Teaching with Psychology at MIC Limerick. 20% of students who completed the LC in 2022 achieved over 500 points, with close to 60% of students scoring over 400 points.
Successful past pupils of OLT are a long-standing tradition with students attending prestigious colleges around Ireland, Europe and on scholarships to the US.
