Shane Lowry is very well placed ahead of the final day at The Players Championship on the PGA Tour after sinking a spectacular hole in one on Sunday.

The tournament has been severely weather delayed and players will finish their third round on Monday before quickly turning around to play their final rounds.

Shane is well place on five under par in a tie for 11th place and just four shots off the lead. For a time on Sunday, he was in danger of missing the cut but he finished his second round with two excellent birdies to guarantee he made the cut.

He quickly turned around to start his third round and after an early dropped shot, he stormed back with four birdies and that hole in one to sit on five under after 14 holes.

Anirban Lahiri leads the way on nine under having completed 11 holes of his third round. He is one shot ahead of Tom Hoge and Harold Varner who sit on eight under after nine holes of their third round.
