Well wishes have continued to flood in for former Taoiseach Brian Cowen who is seriously ill in hospital with a reported bleed on the brain. 

The former Offaly TD has been sent well wished from across the country and across the political divide and there has been an overwhelming reaction in the county with countless people taking to social media to send their messages of support.
