Amidst all the excitement of an Irish family syndicate winning last Tuesday's €175m Euromillions jackpot, it has been somewhat overlooked that another Irish player, someone in Offaly, also nabbed a huge prize.
The National Lottery has confirmed to the Offaly Express there was a Match 5 winner on the EuroMillions draw on Tuesday who gets €41,082, and the good news is, the ticket was sold in Offaly.
The winning ticket was sold in Spar Express, Hill Street, Cloghan, Offaly but the winner has not yet come forward.
The numbers drawn were 1, 8, 18, 19 and 39. The lucky stars numbers were 7 and 9.
The shop has put the word out and the National Lottery is urging the winner to get in contact to claim their winnings.
