WATCH: Dramatic footage of farmer digging for sheep buried by snow drift in Offaly

One Offaly farmer was in panic mode after Storm Emma left one of his sheep buried benaeth four foot of snow on Saturday. 

The farmer in Cooleshall, which is just inside the Offaly border, close to the town of Roscrea, was filmed digging furiously to resue his animal. 

The footage captures the moment the sheep is freed. 

The sheep has survived the frightening ordeal.
