Bus Éireann cancels all service for Thursday and Friday

Bus Éireann and Dublin Bus have announced that they are cancelling all of their services in Leinster and Munster after 10cm of snow fell overnight and a Status Red warning was issued for both provinces.

Storm Emma and the Beast from the East are expected to meet on Thursday, dumping up to 30cm of snow on the country on Thursday evening and Friday.

People will have to make alternative plans although Gardaí, the RSA and National Emergency Co-ordination Group have warned people not to make unneccessary journeys.
