Pedestrian airlifted to hospital after three vehicle accident in Tipperary

A pedestrian was airlifted to hospital on Friday after a three vehicle accident in Tipperary.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a three-vehicle road traffic accident that occurred on the R498 at Latteragh, Nenagh on Friday, September 19. Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to the incident at approximately 8am.

A female pedestrian (50s) was brought by air ambulance to University Hospital Galway to be treated for serious injuries. There were no other injuries reported.

Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have completed an examination of the scene. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.

They are appealing to road users who were in the area between 7.45am and 8.15am and may have camera footage (including dash-cam) to make it available to the investigating Gardaí.
