'Very aggressive' man pepper sprayed by gardai in Offaly
A man who gardai described as 'highly intoxicated and very aggressive' was pepper sprayed by Gardaí during a public order incident in Offaly.
On Tuesday, June 3, at 10pm in the evening, the Guards got a report of an intoxicated man on Pound Street in Birr
A Garda spokesperson said that when they went to the scene and approached the man he became very aggressive.
Gardai say that as a result. the man was pepper sprayed and charged.
