Intoxicated man 'passed out' river bank in Offaly arrested for his own safety
An intoxicated man had to be arrested for his own safety by gardai in Offaly.
According to gardai, on Sunday night June 22, gardaí on patrol on Bridge Street in Birr came across 'a very intoxicated male'.
Gardai say the man was passed out' on the Camcor's river bank in Birr.
Gardai added that the man had to be arrested for his own safety.
He was issued with a Fixed Charge Notice.
