Big fundraising event planned for family of late Offaly barman who died suddenly

A Benefit Night Fundraiser has been launched for the late Brian Connolly, a young dad who passed away unexpectedly on February 17 last.

This fundraising event will take place on Friday, May 23, at Tom and Gerry’s Bar, Ballinagar, where Brian worked and was a very popular barman.

Brian who was originally from Letterkenny in County Donegal moved to Offaly over 25 years ago. He lived with his family in Clara, and worked as a much loved porter in Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore.

Brian has left behind a heartbroken family and a wide circle of family friends and beloved colleagues.

The Clara, Tullamore and Ballinagar communities have now rallied together in the aftermath of his passing to raise funds for Brian’s nearest and dearest.
