First Dates Ireland will see a 80-year-old Offaly woman go on a date for the second time on the dating show.

The episode will air tonight (Thursday January 23) and can be viewed on RTE 2 and RTE player.

Offaly singleton, Lorrainne Dormer, will be going on a date with the oldest ever singleton to be on the show, 86-year-old Stan from Waterford.

“Being the oldest person on the show proves my point that until they screw the coffin lid down, anything is still possible,” Says Stan.

Lorraine, from Tullamore, appeared on the show before but was not successful in finding her perfect match.

A Facebook user shared a post that said "well done Stan Phillips and Lorraine. What a fantastic, warm, intriguing story, that fits in here so well."
