How much??? Apartment in Offaly listed for sale with staggering seven-figure price tag
We'll acknowledge straight off the bat that someone probably added an extra zero by mistake to the asking price (at least we hope they did) but when we saw this listing in Offaly on www.daft.ie it certainly caught our attention.
Apartment 18, Carraig Eán, Edenderry looks like it ticks all the boxes for a nice two-bedroom apartment and even has the added bonus of a nice view out the window.
However when you look at the asking price, it is listed at €1,795,000. (yes that is €1.795 million)

Now while this is (hopefully) a mistake that will probably be corrected shortly, this wouldn't even make it the most expensive apartment in Ireland.
A two-bedroom penthouse on Grafton Street is listed for €1.8 million and another one in Dun Laoghaire is on the market for a cool €2.2 million.
And in case you are interested, the cheapest apartment on the market in Ireland is a two-bedroom apartment in Ballina in Tipperary that has an asking price of just €60,000.
