TWO women have been accused of affray in Kilcormac in April this year.

Patrick Martin, solicitor, appeared for Charlene Dunican (29), Meadowlands, Kilcormac and David Nugent, BL, appeared for Amanda Kennedy Brewer (26), Coolfin, Kilcormac.

Sergeant Brendan Kearns said the incident which gave rise to the charges had been captured on CCTV and it lasted three minutes and 10 seconds.

Both women are alleged to have committed affray, used or threatened to use unlawful violence towards each other, contrary to Section 16 of the Public Order Act, on April 29 last at Fairgreen Street, Kilcormac.

Judge Cody adjourned the prosecution to November 18 next for the full facts to be heard.
