BALLYCOMMON

Captain – Aidan Bracken;

Retirements/Long term injuries – Barry Bracken, Jack Kenny, Aaron Scally;

New players – Paul Conway, Cian O’Connor;

Last year – Senior “B” champions;

Star player – David Dempsey;

Key players – Aidan Bracken, Conor Dunne, Ryan Kenny;

Prospects – Ballycommon will be relishing the thought of playing senior football and seeing how they fare. They will play in a quarter-final and will be setting their sights on a big result here. They were very impressive winners of the senior “B” last year and are capable of a shock. They have some really good footballers, Offaly senior footballers in David Dempsey and Aidan Bracken and others who have played at minor/U-20 level. Winning the championship is likely be beyond their reach and the important thing for Ballycommon is to stay senior and build – there is uncertainty about the format for 2025 and if senior goes to 10 teams, then there will be no relegation. This year is all about experience for Ballycommon and performing as well as they possibly can.
