ALERT: Met Eireann issues Thunderstorm Warning for nine counties with hail in forecast
Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow Thunderstorm Warning for nine counties for this afternoon and into this evening.
The Status Yellow Thunderstorm warning is for Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Wexford, Wicklow, Tipperary and Waterford
Met Eireann is warning that there will be isolated thunderstorms with the chance of hail this afternoon and evening.
Possible impacts include hazardous travelling conditions, poor visiibility, spot flooding and lightning damage.
The warning is in place from 1pm to 7pm on Friday.
